With one million visitors per year, the Anne Frank House is Amsterdam’s second most popular museum. Throughout the summer months, waiting times can mount to over an hour. Arrive at 9 in the morning or after 6 o’clock in the evening to avoid the crush. But the best way by far is making online ticket reservation for your visit. Buy your ticket or tickets in advance for a specific date and time slot at home or from an internet access point. Online ticket prices are €0.50 ($0.70) higher than when bought at the Anne Frank House ticket office in Amsterdam. However, the big bonus of buying tickets online is that you avoid the long queue at the ticket window.
How to Buy Your Anne Frank House Online Tickets
Go to the Anne Frank House website and make a reservation for a maximum of 14 tickets per order. All you need is a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), a printer and an email address. Print your tickets and have enough ink in your printer because the printed bar code will be scanned. Very vague prints cannot be scanned.
